Sarah Rotenberg was
first introduced to yoga when she was
fourteen. Ten years later Sarah’s path led her to her first
teacher training at
Downward Dog in Toronto.
Serious injury and years of being an equestrian took a toll on
Sarah’s body. It
was through yoga that she was able to really connect and begin to heal
old
scars and injuries. Sarah has been fortunate to study and take classes
with
some of the world’s most practiced yoga teachers including:
Ron Reid, Diane
Bruni, David Life, Carmela Savoia, Michael Siddall, Chuck Miller, Maty
Ezraty,
and Nicki Doan to name a few.
Sarah
believes that with every teacher comes a new
experience and with every student there is something to be learned in
order to
help us all see our world and our yoga practice a little differently
and from a
new perspective. Sarah is primarily trained in Ashtanga (power) yoga,
Hatha and
has a great love and respect for Anusara yoga. Sarah believes that all
yoga is
one and when focus is on the breath, alignment and listening each day
to what
the body is telling us then yoga/union inevitably occurs. Sarah is
pleased to have
added the Yoga Plus…Ashtanga teacher training to her resume
and encourages all
levels to try her classes, because… “anyone can
practice yoga!” Visit her
