Classical Yoga has many modern forms. All classes practice traditional yoga postures to build strength and flexibility, with an attention to breath and alignment. We encourage you to practice the way you like best — group classes, semi-privates, privates, or corporate sessions — in one of our studios, at home, your office, or even in a school gym. Anusara Inspired Yoga
Anusara yoga, as founded by John Friend, is a uniquely integrated approach to Hatha Yoga in which the art of the human spirit powerfully blends with the science of biomechanics.The asana practice integrates the celebration of the heart, Universal Principles of Alignment with balanced energetic action.
Ashtanga
Often referred to as 'aerobic' or 'power' yoga, Ashtanga is an energetic series of asanas and sun salutations designed to build heat and detoxify the body.
Bellydancing

Learn the “seductive walk' and other travelling steps in combination with dance movements. Also, you will learn a choreography, some sexy combinations and transitions.

Gentle Yoga
Gentle Yoga is an introduction to the benefits of learning to relax and energise with Yoga.
Hatha Yoga
Hatha is the classic approach to yoga that emphasizes physical detail, focus and breath awareness. Energizes and tones.
Hatha Flow

This class bridges the gap between ashtanga AND hatha yoga. It explores the variety of unique poses that hatha offers, yet provides you with the vigorous flow that characterizes ashtanga yoga. Sculpt, tone, energize and hey - you may even stand on your head!

Karma Yoga
Hatha Yoga. Pay what you can to your instructor. Minimum donation $6.
Kripalu
Kripalu is known as the 'yoga of the heart'. The intention is to create compassion and promote calm and balance. Experience yoga as a meditation in motion.
Nia

This practice embraces the gifts of yoga, dance, and martial arts; explores the joy of the body's sensations while building awareness of the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Benefits include cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, balnce, and relaxation.

Post-Natal (Mom and baby) Yoga
This class is set up for you and your baby. It is a gentle Hatha yoga class with particular care given to the parts of the body that are still tender from birth or breast feeding. Baby participants should be “pre-crawlers”, up to approximately 6 months of age. Classes are followed by an optional social tea.
Pre-Natal
Prenatal Yoga is a great way to help you focus more deeply on your pregnancy, giving yourself and your baby the time and attention you both need. Prenatal yoga class involves gentle stretching and strengthening as well as breathing techniques, sounding and deep relaxation. It's fun, easy and helps eliminate many of the common discomforts of pregnancy, from backache to ankle swelling and many others. Recommended most for the second and third trimester of pregnancy.
Primary Series

This course is essentially an ashtanga course. The difference is that this class ensures that the entire primary series is completed within the alloted class time. Suitable for students who are comfortable in an ashtanga level 1/2 class.

Pilates

Pilates aligns the skeletal system while stretching and strengthening the muscles. The focus is on strengthening the body's core. Sculpts and tones. A favourite among dancers. Translation: This is the key to hot abs and a supple spirit!

Restorative Yoga

We offer restorative classes in yoga. Restorative employs gentle therapeutic techniques to slowly release tightness. Encourages mobility and flexibility. Excellent for fatigue, neck and back pain, fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel syndrome, among others.

Ujjayi Pulse
Ujjayi Pulse (ooo-j-eye-ee pulse) combines the practice of vinyasa yoga with pulsing sound. The steady flow of rhythm provides the practitioner with an opportunity to align breath, bandhas and movement in a continuous flowing practice. This style of class is adaptable to all levels of experience.
Yin Yoga
Most forms of Yoga practiced today are Yang, they emphasize muscular movement and contraction. By contrast Yin Yoga targets the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Yin postures are held three to five to ten minutes at a time. This type of practice complements the more muscular styles of Yoga and is a great aid for learning to sit in meditation.
Yoga Basics

This class teaches you the basic postures and breathing techniques in order to familiarize you with yogic concepts. Suitable for students who have never encountered yoga before.

The Yoga Studio is a comprehensive studio perfect for the complete novice, to the advanced practitioner, to the teacher trainee.

Remember, yoga is not a competition, but an exploration. Never push yourself to the point of pain, only allow yourself to grow by listening to your body, and treating it with love and support.

Our levels are as follows:

Fundamentals
These courses are offered on a pre-registered basis only. They are designed for students with no experience in orderlearn the basics in a safe, slow, and thorough way. Also suitable for students who simply want to re-visit the basics of either ashtanga, pilates or hatha.
Basics
Designed for those who want to learn or stick to the basics. A beginner level practice for experienced and inexperienced students alike
Level 1
Designed for students who are familiar with the foundation postures. Allows you to continue to build upon your practice and approach the intermediate level.
Level 1/2
Designed for students at either the 1 or 2 level. Class offers variations on postures to make them more/less challenging so that students can choose their level of practice.
Level 2
A challenging intermediate class for the student who is ready to advance their knowledge, increase their strength, and deepen their practice.
Level 2/3
An advanced practice for experienced students only. Focus on advanced inversions, balances and backbends.
